As of 1st January 2011, LoCO2 Energy is pleased to offer our brand new fixed rate renewable energy tariff, available for old and new customers alike.

The fixed rate renewable energy tariff is available throughout the country for domestic customers.
Regardless of whether you are on a single rate or a multi-rate meter, we have calculated very competitive fixed rate renewable energy prices.
Why should you opt for a fixed rate renewable energy tariff?
Fixed rate electricity tariffs have been around in the energy industry for years and, at one point or another, most consumers are likely to have signed up to one. However, fixed rate renewable energy tariffs are few and far between.
The concept is simple: when you sign up to our fixed rate renewable energy tariff, you agree to be a customer with us for one year. In return, we guarantee a price for our renewable electricity over the period, insuring you against price rises or even price shocks.
An independent report released in September 2010 by the electricity industry regulator Ofgem predicted electricity prices to rise over the coming months. This will have an great effect on customers needing more electricity as we move into the shorter, colder winter days.
As a result of these predictions, LoCO2 Energy wanted to offer a fixed rate renewable energy tariff to offer security against rising prices and peace of mind when you budget each month as you know exactly what you can expect to pay for your renewable electricity.
PocketFixed is a little more expensive than our Pocket tariff but you have the security of picking your own renewable electricity price, rather than having it imposed on you.
How green is PocketFixed?
Our fixed rate renewable energy tariff comes from two sources.
We will source at least 20% of PocketFixed’s supply from renewable sources, including wind, solar, hydro anaerobic digestion and landfill gas.
The remaining 80% will be sourced from good-quality CHP and natural gas.
What are the terms and conditions of the fixed rate renewable energy tariff?
When devising our fixed rate renewable energy tariff, we wanted to offer consumers assurance alongside flexible terms and conditions. Our cancellation fees, for examples, remain some of the cheapest in the industry.
  • When you sign up to our fixed rate renewable energy tariff, you sign up for one year.
  • You can leave any time after your first 28 days, although you will have to pay a cancellation fee.
  • £25 cancellation fee - one of the lowest in the electricity industry.
  • There is no cancellation fee for moving house.
